FC Barcelona 24-25 Coldplay Kit Leaked – Set for El Clásico Debut

In an exciting continuation of their collaboration with Spotify, FC Barcelona's 2024-25 home kit will prominently feature the logo of the famous British band Coldplay. The new design is set to make its first appearance in one of the biggest football rivalries in the world, the El Clásico match against Real Madrid, scheduled for October 27. This leak comes courtesy of Barcelona kit expert @memorabilia1899, who has revealed the details of this special edition jersey.

Coldplay, known globally for their iconic songs such as Viva La Vida, Fix You, Yellow, and A Sky Full of Stars, is preparing for the release of their tenth studio album, Moon Music. The album's logo, featuring a striking depiction of the moon’s phases, will take center stage on Barcelona's 2024-25 home shirt. This marks a significant departure from the usual Spotify branding, which the band’s logo will temporarily replace.

Nike has based the Coldplay edition jersey on the standard 2024-25 home kit design. However, the main difference lies in the substitution of the Spotify logo with the distinctive Coldplay Moon Music emblem, symbolizing the band's upcoming album. The logo itself is an artistic portrayal of the lunar phases, with the full moon displayed prominently in the center of the jersey.

This collaboration is just one of many high-profile partnerships that FC Barcelona and Spotify have undertaken. Previous musical tie-ins include superstars like Drake, Rosalía, and Karol G, as well as rock legends The Rolling Stones. Coldplay now joins this elite roster, as Barcelona continues to blend the worlds of music and football in innovative ways.

The official release of the FC Barcelona Coldplay 2024-25 home kit is expected to happen around October 21 or 22. While this unique design is bound to attract attention, I personally am not a fan of the look. Nonetheless, it’s sure to generate excitement among both Barça supporters and Coldplay fans alike.
