Few football clubs are as closely connected to their city and culture as Bayern Munich. Every year, when Oktoberfest arrives in Munich, the club celebrates the occasion with special jerseys inspired by Bavarian traditions, colours and fashion.
What started with a traditional Bavarian-inspired look has developed into one of the most interesting annual jersey traditions in football. From green and gold designs to elegant off-white shirts, Bayern’s Oktoberfest jerseys have become highly popular with both football fans and collectors.
So, which ones are the best? Here is our ranking of the best Bayern Munich Oktoberfest jerseys ever.
5. Bayern Munich 2024/25 Oktoberfest Jersey
The 2024/25 Oktoberfest jersey took a completely different approach. Instead of the traditional green or red colours, Bayern went with a sophisticated grey design.
One of the biggest highlights was the introduction of a special Bayern Oktoberfest emblem. The club also created a wider Oktoberfest collection around the jersey, making it feel more like a complete fashion collection rather than simply a football shirt.
Bayern wore the shirt against Bayer Leverkusen in September 2024, in a match that ended 1-1.
Why we like it: Elegant, understated and easy to wear as everyday streetwear.

4. Bayern Munich 2021/22 Oktoberfest Jersey
The 2021/22 shirt holds a special place in Bayern history because it was the first official Bayern Oktoberfest jersey.
The design featured a green shirt and matching socks with black shorts. Edelweiss flowers were incorporated into the design, adding an unmistakably Bavarian touch.
Interestingly, Oktoberfest itself was cancelled that year because of COVID-19. Bayern nevertheless wore the special kit in one competitive match — a spectacular 7-0 victory over Bochum.

Why we like it: It started the modern Bayern Oktoberfest jersey tradition.
3. Bayern Munich 2022/23 Oktoberfest Jersey
For the following season, Bayern returned with another special Oktoberfest design, this time using dark red and gold.
Gold details appeared across the adidas branding, sleeves and club elements, while the Edelweiss motif continued the connection with traditional Bavarian clothing.
The shirt also became associated with a memorable result. Bayern wore it in a 4-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen.
Why we like it: The combination of dark red and gold gives this shirt a premium, classic appearance.

2. Bayern Munich 2023/24 Oktoberfest Jersey
The 2023/24 Oktoberfest jersey was one of Bayern's most eye-catching designs.
The shirt used a lime-green colour inspired by the meadows around Oktoberfest, with mountain flowers incorporated into the design. It was a much more colourful and modern interpretation of Bavarian tradition.
Harry Kane also helped make the shirt memorable. During the Oktoberfest period, he scored a hat-trick in Bayern's 7-0 victory over Bochum.

Why we like it: Bold, colourful and unmistakably different from a normal Bayern shirt.
1. Bayern Munich 2025/26 Oktoberfest Jersey
For us, the winner is the 2025/26 Bayern Munich Oktoberfest jersey.
The design combined several important parts of Bayern's history. The shirt features an elegant off-white base, green embroidered sleeve details and a structure inspired by Bayern's 125th-anniversary jersey.
It also included a specially designed Oktoberfest crest and adidas Originals Trefoil logo, giving it a strong retro-meets-modern feel.
The 2025 edition was particularly special because it celebrated both Bayern Munich's 125th anniversary and the 190th edition of Oktoberfest. A limited collection of 1,900 collector boxes containing the complete kit was also produced.
Why we like it: It combines Bayern history, Bavarian culture, Oktoberfest and modern football fashion in one shirt.
Honourable Mention: Bayern Munich 2013/14
Before the official Oktoberfest jersey tradition began, Bayern had already produced a Bavarian-inspired look.
The 2013/14 away kit featured a white shirt with brown shorts designed to resemble traditional lederhosen, creating a very distinctive Bavarian appearance. It wasn't officially an Oktoberfest one-off, but it is often considered an important predecessor to the modern Wiesn jerseys.
It also came during Bayern's incredible 2013/14 campaign, when Pep Guardiola's team won the Bundesliga by a huge 19-point margin.
