Special Nike Barcelona Travis Scott 2000-2001 Skeleton Remake Kit Released

Nike and FC Barcelona have officially released a special edition Travis Scott x Barcelona "Skeleton Remake Kit," inspired by the club’s iconic 2000-2001 third kit. This bold collaboration brings together football heritage, streetwear culture, and music in a one-of-a-kind design. The jersey pays homage to the original silver kit worn during the turn of the millennium, but adds a modern, edgy twist with Travis Scott’s signature dark aesthetic and graphic elements resembling skeletal rib cages subtly integrated into the fabric.

The kit features a metallic silver base, just like the classic 2000-01 shirt, but is elevated with black skeletal graphics across the chest and back, referencing both Halloween themes and Scott’s own “Cactus Jack” branding. The Nike swoosh and Barcelona crest are finished in an iridescent black, while the sponsor area is deliberately left blank, contributing to the minimalist yet impactful design. A custom tag inside the collar reads “Utopia,” nodding to Scott’s 2023 album, while the sleeves feature tonal mesh panels for a futuristic feel.

This release is not just a tribute to Barça's past but also a statement of where football kits are headed—towards lifestyle fashion. The Travis Scott remake kit is designed to be worn both on and off the pitch, making it highly desirable for fans of the club, the artist, and collectors alike. The collaboration blurs the line between football apparel and streetwear, much like PSG’s ongoing Jordan Brand partnership, but with an even darker, more artistic twist.

Nike has also released a limited-edition packaging experience for this kit, including a matte black collector's box, co-branded with the FC Barcelona crest and Travis Scott’s signature iconography. Early promotional images featured Travis wearing the kit at the Camp Nou, paired with black cargo pants and boots, reinforcing the crossover appeal. The kit is part of a broader marketing campaign highlighting Nike’s influence in merging sport with global cultural movements.

Released in highly limited quantities, the Travis Scott x Barcelona 2000-2001 Skeleton Remake Kit sold out within hours of its drop on Nike SNKRS and the FC Barcelona official store. Resale prices are already soaring, with shirts being listed for more than double their retail price. This release signals a new era of high-concept football fashion, where nostalgia meets innovation, and global stars like Travis Scott continue to push the boundaries of how football heritage is reimagined. Would you like a visual mockup of the kit as well?
